Green Mountain Fife and Drum Corps
Since 1999

A Brief History
Green Mountain Fife and Drum Corps was found in 1999 by a group of first-graders and their music teacher, Sandy Button. With help and guidance from the Colonial Musketeers of New Jersey and Michael Edson of the First New York, the corps has grown in experience and skill (as well as age) over the last ten years. They currently perform at parades, reenactments, and musters throughout Vermont and New York, playing a motley collection of Revolutionary War, Civil War, and War of 1812 era martial and dance music.
